New Tractor |
The tractor is used to launch the number two Lifeboat Ryde Rotary and also acts as a back up to the Launch vehicle for our main Lifeboat Sir Norman Echlin .
Due to the corrosive nature of salt water combined with sand, our tractors only last a few years and the SAME was becoming unreliable so we had no option but to replace it; It was also outgrowing the Rescue centre. The John Deere is a 2850 4 wheel drive and was island based at Arreton before we purchased it
